I hate the word homophobia.

It is not a phobia.

You are not scared.

You are just an asshole.

what if someone had an actual phobia though

like with people who are arachnaphobic

a gay person comes into their house and they stand on a chair screaming and swatting them with a broom or something

#or they get a really huge glass to put over the gay person #and then slide a big piece of paper underneath and put them outside

things i am scared of doing: 

• ordering food in a restaurant 
• walking down a busy high street on my own 
• talking to people on the phone 
• eating in front of people 
• asking for help in a shop 
• meeting new people 
• being in a big crowd of people with a lot of people i don’t know 

the future looks bright for me 

Here, let me add onto that. My future is also very promising.

• Answering questions in class
• Being talked to directly by someone other than very close friends
• People looking at my artwork, even though I aspire to be an artist
• Walking down the school hallway by myself
• Being made to talk to someone against my will
• Being in even somewhat close proximity to anyone mildly important
• Any sort of social situation that requires speech
